Tteokbokki is a popular Korean street meal that also happens to be good comfort food. This Spicy Korean Rice Cake you can prepare it at home. Rice cakes that are spicy, somewhat sweet, and chewy are just addicting.
Method to make Spicy Rice Cake
1. Mix rice flour, salt and water to make a dough.
2. Shape it into long log and cut 2'' pieces.
3. Boil some water and cook these rice cakes in it for 15 minutes.
4. Make tomato paste by boiling tomato and red chillies.
5. Peal the tomato skin and make paste with tomato and chillies with coriander leaves.
6. Heat oil in a pan with sesame seeds and gingergarlic paste.
7. Saute tomato paste with that add onion and cook.
8. Add Sauces with red chilly powder and cook.
9. Add rice cakes and cook with some water.
10. Just before serving add spring onion and sesame seeds.
