This easy recipe used a box of Zatarain's Jambalaya mix and a few additions.
Place water and stewed tomatoes in large pot to heat. Add the Zatarain's mix and the sausage, cut in small slices on a diagonal. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for about 20 minutes; then stir in the fresh broccoli and cauliflower. Cook about 10 minutes longer.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
Our frozen stewed tomatoes have several vegetables in them: okra, onions, carrots, zucchini, peppers, These were all (except the okra) recommended in small amounts by the recipe on the Zatarain's box.
