I've tried many "blondie" or blonde brownie recipes and this is by far the... "VERY BEST". Try it for yourself.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour a 13-x-9-x-2-inch baking pan.
Combine brown sugar and butter in a bowl (either beat together with a mixer, or melt the butter and stir into the sugar by hand). Mix well.
Add eggs to sugar/butter mixture and stir well.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture and stir well.
Stir in chocolate morsels and vanilla.
Pour batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool in pan on wire rack.
Cut into bars when cool.
