Suggest a better descriptionSeperate egg whites into a small bowl and set aside.
•Sift dry ingredients (except oat bran) into a large bowl.
•Add wet ingredients (including the egg yolks but not the egg whites) to the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
•Add oat bran to the mix until combined. Batter will then have lumpy appearance from the oat bran.
•Let those ingredients sit for 10 minutes.
•Meanwhile beat the egg whites.
•After 10 mimutes, gently fold the egg whites into the mixture just until combined. The mixture will appear to have air bubbles in it.
•Immediately put the batter into the waffle iron.
The recipe will make 4 to 5 belgian waffles.
