Suggest a better descriptionSoak the walnuts overnight or at least 1 hour before using.
In a food processor, roughly chop the walnuts and mushrooms together.
Cook the pasta according to the instructions.
Preheat the oven to 350F (176C).
Chop the onion and caramelize in a large saucepan over low heat.
Chop the garlic and add to the pan with the other seasonings and the walnut meat mixture.
Stir in the tomato sauce and chopped tomato.
Grate the ginger and add to the pan with salt and stir it in.
Remove from heat once everything is cooked, about 15 minutes.
Combine the sauce and pasta and transfer to a baking dish.
Top with cheese, a salt, and extra seasonings and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and a little browned and crispy.
