Moisten the wasabi powder with the vermouth, stirring to make a smooth paste. If wasabi paste is available, substitute the paste for the powder/vermouth paste. Add the wasabi paste to the butter and give it a zap with an immersion blender. Serve, or keep warm at the back of the stove for up to 1 hour before serving. Add a few drops of water if the sauce becomes too thick.
