Easy stove top Christmas Fudge
line a 8” square pan with foil, grease or sprayed.
mix sugar and milk in a heavy pan (3 qt.) over medium heat add butter
and stirring constantly bring to a rolling boil. without stirring continue
boiling for *5 min. Over low heat add the chocolate and almond extract.
stir in dried cherries add toasted almonds, stir and pour into prepared pan.
Chill for 2 hours.
*5 min. = almost to soft ball stage
When adding the milk and p.sugar it looks curdely but it mixes together fine. do not worry!
