Chop Stripples in small pieces. Saute in oleo for a minute. Stir in flour. Add cream and blend well.
In a small bowl, beat egg. Stir in sugar, salt and vinegar. Stir slowly into cream mixture and cook until slightly thickened.
Pour over lettuce for wilted lettuce or over dandelion greens.
