Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs (one egg at a time) and beat well. Add vanilla extract. Fold in flour alternating with 7Up. Put in a greased and floured cake pan or tube. Bake for 1 hour. Converted by MC_Buster. Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.

The recipe ingredients are perfect, no improvements needed! I did have to bake the cake about 20 minutes longer than the recipe called for. At one hour, the cake was not done so I had to keep a watch and toothpick tested it every five minutes! Also grease and flour your pan very well - otherwise it will stick!
