This is a meat loaf with a bite. If blue cheese is not to your taste, you could substitute an alternative.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a bowl mix all the ingrediants (except for filling) and season with salt and pepper.
Grease a 2 lb. loaf tin and spoon in half the mixture.
Crumble the cheese in a small bowl, mix well with trhe cream, egg and chilli powder. Spread mixture on the meat in the tin. Spoon remaining meat mixture on top. Bake in the cenbter of the oven for 1 hour.
Turn oven up to 475 degrees F. Loosen the sides of the meat loaf with a knife and turn out ghently onto a ovenproof serving dish. Smear the loaf with the tomato ketchup and put back in hot oven for 10-15 mins.
