  • "I calculate this to 8 points. I used chopped up chiles at the bottom instead of whole chiles. Very hot and it took 8 chiles to cover the top of the pan. In hinted sight, i think I would chop up one or 2 chiles and add them to the swimming pot next time. Very delicious and recommended. " -- Greco
  • "This is my favorite french toast recipe ....minus nutmeg with a little extra brown sugar. Made both regular-sliced white bread and raisin bread. Enjoyed by everyone. " -- LavenderWand
  • "I used shredded cheese and added more of all chesses + sauce so I had to cook 15 minutes longer to heat through. (Or was it because I cooled the pasta too much when rinsing????) Whole family enjoyed it. Next time, I might cover with aluminum foil before adding top layer of cheese and then brown for the last 5-10. Nice and filling vegetarian recipe. Thanks! " -- LavenderWand
  • "Added a few small sweet bell peppers and a shallot. Spinach is always yummy to me. My daughter didn't like it though...she said it tasted bitter. " -- LavenderWand
  • "I really enjoyed the beans refried (a few days later) for some vegetarian tacos with fresh guacamole. My first attempt with dried beans... I'm sure it was healthier than canned but I'm not certain it was worth the effort. A slow cooker recipe would make this even better. " -- LavenderWand
  • "I used less bouillon than the recipe called for. It turned out great. Keep in mind that all crock pots are a bit different. This recipe was done in about 5 hours for me. Definitely a keeper." -- cjmonte
  • "This is the closest recipe to the original I've tasted! Made the recipe and after eating one, (I just couldn't resist) and which was delicious, I made a second batch for the freezer, I will definitely keep this recipe in my Big Oven Notebook." -- sunnygal
