Ingredients

8 Ounces rotini pasta; cooked and drained
1/2 Pound TURKEY FRANKS; cut into 1/4-inch slices
1 Cup yellow squash; cut into 1/8-inch slices
1 Cup zucchini; cut into 1/8-inch slices
1/2 Cup reduced-calorie Italian salad dressing
1/3 Cup green onions; sliced, including green tips
1 Tablespoon Dried parsley
3/4 Teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 Clove Garlic; finely minced
1 Cup cherry tomatoes; cut in bite sized pieces

Servings  

Preparation

1. In large bowl combine pasta, franks, squash, zucchini, dressing, onion, parsley, Italian seasoning and garlic. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

2. Before serving, fold in tomatoes.

despite the stars, i tried this but altered it a bit because of ingredients. I had fresh squash from a family garden and wanted to try something. I mixed, Mayo, Dill weed, garlic paste, salt, pepper, a pinch of nutmeg and pinch of cayenne pepper because i like it a tad spicy. I also added some milk to cut down on the mayo and mixed in some permesan cheese. Chopped up half a red onion, the turkey franks, and steamed yellow squash and green squash. Tossed everything together and stuck it in the freezer for 15 minutes to cool it all down. salt and pepper to taste. My DH was surprised and said he liked it even though he's not really into veggies normally.

Is this meant to be cold or hot? Some pasta salads work both ways
