Alfredo sauce

Ready in 45 minutes

Use with Pasta Romano

"Very easy, but tasty Alfredo sauce. I added shrimp before the Parmesan and allowed it to cook the last three minutes of the simmer. After the sauce and noodles were tossed, I added freshly ground pepper, kosher salt, and a bit of crushed red pepper. I served this with Texas Toast. It was delicious!!"

So good, but maybe a little too rich. Excellent with grilled chicken. Used only half the garlic recommended and light cream instead of heavy.

Easy! Takes only about 15minutes to prepare, could taste better with less garlic though!

First time ever making a sauce from scratch and I was very happy I chose this recipe. Slight variation though I used asiago and mozzarella cheese and I used granulated garlic it was awesome.
