Maple Teriyaki Salmon Fillets

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Fish and Shellfish

Maple syrup and apple juice provide the mildly sweet marinade for these salmon fillets. Whether they are broiled or grilled, the fillets glaze nicely when basted. Everyone I've served this to seems to love it. Kathy Schrecengost Oswego, New York

"I combined a couple of the ideas I read in earlier comments, and it was phenomenal, (even my 5 & 7yr olds liked it)! I baked the fish for 30mins, center-rack of oven & boiled the 1/2 cup of marinade that was set aside for basting, to use it as a sauce. I also believe it will be better to marinade it at least 3hrs if not longer since the sauce was really the main flavoring." - Jdog21276

Notes

This made a great dinner. It easily rivals any other salmon dish I have tried. My wife loved it and I will definitely be making this one again.

Followed all instructions to a tee. Was hoping the marinade would have been a bit more prevolent in the final product - VERY subtle sweetness. Will try to bake instead of broil next time.

We loved it. Not too sweet. My husband finally ate fish without tartar sauce!

Incredible salmon. We baked the fish at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes instead of broiling, and it was extremely moist. It vanished quickly at our weekly Church dinner.

This is my family's new favorite recipe. Sweet, but not too sweet. The neighbors all request some whenever I make it.

Delicious! Used apple sauce instead of the juice (left over from a roast pork dinner). Great recipe thanks so much.

Only marinated for an hour so the flavor was mild. But the left overs the next day were great. I would marinate the fish all day next time.

Excellent recipe. I boiled the left over marinade, constantly stirring until it thickened and carmelized. I used it as a sauce over the salmon. It was amazing.

Marinated it for about 6 hours. Flavor was mild but good. I will make it again but may try a bit more garlic and maybe apple cider for more intense flavor.
