tami610 ,This method WORKS!! I was nervous but just let it do its thing… I cooked a 16# prime rib!! It turned out PERFECT!!1y
klikes ,This last day of 2018 I made for the first time ever this Prime Rib, roast, recipe. It came out perfect! This recipe was for a six pound roast and mine was a little over four pounds so the only thing that I did differently was, reduce the baking time one minute per pound. It was delicious and perfect. On a scale of 1 to 10 my husband gave me a, 100! We will be making a Prime Rib roast again in the near future using this recipe.5y
jeffleggej5j4 ,I'm about to use this recipe yet again(3 perfect primes and counting). I was not a believer but risked one a year ago. Wow! Perfect prime rib is right. Crispy crust, delicate medium rare inside. The fats had rendered into that butter goodness that you expect from the perfect prime. Love the recipe and thank you again. 5 lbs er going on tomorrow !7y
dawnc ,OMG! I tried this recipe this past weekend, and it came out wonderful!! I oversalted it a little, but it was still delicious! My smoke alarm went off. I suggest blowing a fan right at the detector so it doesn't go off. THIS RECIPE IS A KEEPER! Thank you for posting it!8y
csg65804 ,Love the reviews and cannot wait to make it but hubbys on TDY & he loves prime rib so want to try it on him for a surprise8y
hanaqueen ,This is my first time making the prime rib, and it is really amazing. Just like other reviews, the center is a little rare to our family, but at least no blood coming out. I will for sure use this recipe again.9y
brokenwheels ,Outside of all the smoke in the kitchen for the first 40 minutes, this worked perfectly, dead on medium as planned. I'll have a fan going next time.9y
preciousjules16 ,I used this recipe for Christmas dinner. It was perfect. Even made another one a week later and cooked it a little closer to rare for prime rib dip. The way to perfection is having a meat thermometer that sets into the meat while cooking. I used one each time and was able to keep watch on it.10y
bornready1970 ,So I have used this recipe more than once and have never had a failure, EVER. I also have never cooked anything less than a 10 lb roast either, ;) Awarded Pami a medal, please do the same if you like this recipe!10y
jagchen ,Had a 4.3 rib and my oven only goes to 500 degrees so added two min per pound did 32 min at 500 then followed instructions when cut into was a little to rare for my liking so cut in 2 cooked 10 min on 450 then perfect10y
jessicasanchez-tschausoff ,I made a 4.5 pound roast and it came out perfect. I put it in for 24 minutes, I should have left it in for a couple of minutes more because the center was almost rare. The rest of it was tender and delicious. Will be doing this again.10y
mpoero ,Shockingly easy recipe with excellent results. This one will be a go-to dish for future big parties!10y
renannmor ,Excellent !! Very tender, family loved it ... This is second time that we made it came out perfect each time!!! Love love loved it !!!!11y
