Ingredients
Original recipe makes 6
| 2 tablespoonsolive oil |
| 1 1/2 lbsGround chuck |
| 1 mediumOnion; chopped |
| 1 mediumGreen bell pepper; chopped |
| 3 clovesGarlic; minced |
| 1 14.5-oz canTomatoes; petite diced |
| 2 16-oz canChili beans; Bush's (medium sauce) |
| 1/2 packageChili seasoning mix |
| 1 tablespoonWorcestershire Sauce |
| 1 cupWater |
| Salt and pepper to taste |
| 1 jarMushrooms; sliced, drained (optional) |
Family Chili Preparation
Lightly brown Ground chuck in large pot with olive oil, onion, bell pepper, garlic. Do not over stir; leave chuck in small pieces.
Add tomatoes, chili beans, mushrooms, seasoning mix, worcestershire, water, sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Cover with lid and simmer about 25 minutes on low heat (barely bubbles).
Notes
You can use Bush's mild sauce beans for less spice.
Petite tomatoes are much better.
