hobbesnme ,We made this recipe this morning to break in a new Belgian waffle maker. The batter seemed to be almost too thick and the consistency of the first two or three were doughy. I added two gogo squeeze apple cinnamon pouches and a short pour of apple cider and the consistency and taste became one I will definitely make again6y
rhondagod ,I like these a lot and to find a Belgium style waffle without all of the butter is great because health is always a concern.8y
susanrm ,I've made these now several times. They are so good! And even with four hungry people, we have leftovers. To make them more natural and also vegan, I use organic einkorn flour instead of all-purpose flour. I also use about a teaspoon of stevia powder instead of sugar and almond milk instead of milk. For the eggs, I mash 1/2 regular banana for one egg, and then in a separate bowl, mix 3 tsp water, 3 tsp vegetable oil, and 2 tsp baking powder. This mix is fizzy and makes the waffles almost as fluffy as the beaten egg whites do. It substitutes for 2 eggs. Then I add some blueberries at the end before placing in the waffle maker. Yum! As the batter is a bit sticky, I find it helps to spray even non-stick irons with spray oil.9y
jet92107 ,Light and fluffy. Recipe makes exactly 5 waffles on a round waffle maker so I'd recommend changing the 'serving #' on the recipe. I was nervous to use the whole recipe for '16 servings' but glad I did or we would not have had enough.10y
amyroeder ,We loved these waffles! I subbed brown sugar and added a 1/4 t. of pumpkin spice this time. Just to change it up a little. Turned out great!10y
ldefenbaugh ,By far the best waffles we've ever made in our waffle maker. I was able to make my husband's soft, and mine crispy. Love it!11y
bossham ,Made these waffles for Sunday breakfast and they were wonderful! So fluffy and cooked perfectly in my waffle maker. They had the perfect amount of sweetness that was not overwhelming, a must try!11y
kmahaj2 ,Turned out delicious! I added a handful of chocolate chips to my batter. Be careful though...my waffle iron popped open! haha lesson learned: add less than you're supposed to.11y
