Servings
Original recipe makes 14
3 smallred potatoes
5 clovesgarlic; minced
2 tbspolive oil
1 tspsalt
1/8 tsppepper
1/2 cupwater
1 cupcream cheese spread with onions and chives; softened
1/3 wholemilk; (I use 1% skim milk may be too thin.)

Crockpot Garlic Mashed Potatoes Preparation

Halve or quarter potatoes to make even sizes. Place potatoes in a 4-6 qt. slow cooker. Add garlic, oil, salt, and water and mix to coat. Cover crockpot and cook on high for 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 hours until potatoes are tender.

Mash potatoes roughly with a fork. Stir in cream cheese until blended, then add enough milk for desired consistency. (More salt and pepper may be added as needed.) May be served right away, or cover and hold in slow cooker up to 2 hours on low. Makes fourteen 1/2 cup servings.

Looks amazing. I think it calls for 3 pounds of potatoes though, not 3 potatoes. Hard to get 14 servings out of 3 potatoes.

I have not tried this yet but I am wondering if there is a typo. it calls for 3 small potatoes.

I probably would not put as much garlic as I did. I added cheddar cheese when I served to the family. Very good!
