home made mini biscuits with Virginia Ham (a salty ham works better).
Soften the cream cheese and margarine. Mix together in bowl until well blended. Add flour and blend mixture.
Roll out dough on floured surface until 1/2" thick. Use biscuit cutter or glass, etc. that is approximately 2" in diameter to cut out biscuits. (you can make them any size you wish.)
Place biscuits on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 15 min. (Time is approximate. Bake until slightly bowned.)
Slice cooled biscuits in half and spread with margarine. Add thin slices of a salty, dried ham like Smithfield ham. (She said that smoked ham doesn't taste well with the biscuits nor does the usual sliced ham that is sliced a little thicker.) Yum!
**Always makes 1 batch at a time because it will not mix together well otherwise. Make 4 batches for a larger party crowd.
