Very good! I didn't boil the peppers and it turned out very nicely.

Delicious! There's no need to boil the peppers, they cook just fine on their own in the oven. I spread a little tomato sauce across the top of each pepper before putting the cheese on.

Amazing!!! Added zucchini, tomato paste, and sweet Italian sausage . Also layered cheese inside the pepper (using the whole rather than half), not boiled just baked. Family loved; will make again!!!

I thought this was very good. The flavors were delicious. I did boil my peppers but didn't think that they were soggy. I cooked my peppers in the oven for the first 20 minutes. I didn't have to raise the temperature and cook them longer, my cheese was already browning.

Very yummy dish. And filling! We actually preferred the soggy texture of the peppers - I was weary at first, too, but it seems to fit the overall texture. Although it wasn't dry, we might add a little tomato sauce next time.

Good dish. Read the comments about the soggy peppers so I lightly salted the pepper halfs after I took them from the pot to draw out the moisture. I also cut the sausage in 1/2 &replaced it with lean ground beef. I used a very short grain rice, 3/4 of a can of roasted tomatos, & 2 eggs as a binder. topped it all with a slab of mozzarella cheese. The family loved it.

We don't eat pork so I used ground beef instead. Peppers were too soft after boiling them. Next time I will just put them straight into the oven. I wasn't happy with my soggy peppers but my husband loved it and ate ALL of them!

Not too bad! I used chicken sausage instead of regular sausage to cut down on fat and calories. I would have liked some sauce on top; other than that, I will be trying this again sometime in the future!

Awesome!! Great flavour with the Italian sausage. The flavour was even better the next day and it isn't a heavy meal so it's perfect for lunch.

Fantastic recipe. Tasted great - my friends loved the Italian sausage twist instead of the customary ground beef.

do not cook peppers for 10 min. Peppers become soggy. I would also add a little tomato sauce.

Absolutely fabulous but the time needed in the oven was merely 22 minutes. Everything was perfect - very tasty.

Used spicy sausage, minced some mushrooms and a baby zuchini into the meat/rice mix. Served a lightly dressed salad of greens, cucs and garden tomato on the side to help cool down the spice of the sausage. I thought it was all pretty tasty, but husband thought this wasn't one of his favorites and not sure he wants it again.

My husband loved this dish. I added some pasta sauce on top before baking and some extra before serving. Thanks!!

A quick and tasty dish. Added a beaten egg which helped hold the meat together!

These were very good, just added cooked celery to the onion mixture and used leftover pasta sauce...very tasty and healthy and fast.
