susantarheel ,I tried making this soup in a crockpot. It tasted good but I didn't like the texture. Next time I'll try it as the recipe calls and hope to get a better result.11y
swibirun ,Made it with just a few substitutions (thighs instead of breasts, used a green chili rub instead of taco seasoning, and used 2 cans of black beans instead of all white beans). Family loved it.11y
love7721 ,THIS WAS PHENOMENAL!!. I mixed the taco and poultry seasoning in a bowl and dredged the chicken in it and then set it in the oven to back for the 45 minutes. While that was baking I put together the rest. I was a little nervous that it wouldn't all fit in my pot, but it did. My pic is of the green cast iron pot. I think it should be said that after you put the chicken stock in you scrape the bottom of the pot to get all the good stuff up. I had to do that several times. I used 3 jalapenos, one whole (seeds and membrane) and the other two I scraped out. I didn't want to have to take anyone to the hospital! It had the perfect "kick" to it. I let the pot simmer while I was cooking the chicken and then rough chopped/shredded the chicken when it was done and added to the pot. I used a finely shredded colby/jack cheese (which I find melts more evenly). I sprinkled some in and stirred until it was melted and then sprinkled some more in and repeated. I think that should be said because I know if you just dump all the cheese in, you might have a big all cheesey mess. I made some of the super sweet cornbread that matthew-182 posted and it was just fabulous!!!! Thank you. I will be entering this in my works chili cook off next month....11y
cheryloakesforster ,Wow! My husband asked me to make a white chicken chili and I selected this one. He was working so I ate it for dinner by myself. When he called to ask if it turned out OK I had to admit I'd eaten 3 bowls! It's that good. We took the rest to a tailgate party and our friends were all raving about it too. I used ground chicken rather than roasted just to save some time. I'm taking it to our chili cook off at work this week.11y
rwrosepetals ,This was amazing! Will definitely be a favorite in our household. I prepared this in a large crockpot and just let it cook all day! Yum!11y
teresabutlerthomas ,Amazing comfort food! I made the first time and my friends loved it of course they had comments more this less that. I made the second time it was perfect. I entered it in a Chili Cook-off and won first prize.11y
kennedyk5 ,It's Winter and I felt like Chili (red or white). I did a search for white chili, stumbled upon this and made it with my 5 y/o twins setting aside a special pot for them so as not to light their little pallets on fire. Not only was a it a pleasure to spend this type of time with my kids, when my wife walked in from work she headed straight for the pot with a sample spoon bypassing the usual smooch. Several bowls later it received nothing but raves from the entire lot. Then, the neighbors came over and had some, left with some too. End all, I like chili up to that which will set your mouth on fire. The combination of flavors in this chili were exceptional. Not over the top spicy, but possessed enough bite for you to figure out everything that passd over your taste buds. I garnished with fresh cilantro and enjoyed it with fresh, crisp saltines and an IPA. The kids had sparkling white grape juice. Cheers!12y
groovymamma78 ,What kind of pot was this made in?!?! Good grief, such a waste of liquids! I had a huge mess. Drained liquid off twice!12y
sefrankly ,Made this today with my homemade turkey stock, fat free 1/2 & 1/2 and low fat Mexican cheese blend. Also topped with fresh pico and cilantro... Big hit!!! We loved it!!!!12y
gwinnettgirl ,Made this again for a friend's "Chili Cook-off" dinner party and 'won' a prize - best prize though was the scraping of the bottom of the crock-pot as people devoured! Truly "blue ribbon" perfect again & again!12y
crosfish ,Loved it! This is the first recipe I've experienced tasting flavor layers. Thank you!M12y
bethanyjmartin ,Most amazing white chili ever!! I took it to out Bible study and everyone wanted the recipe. Serve it with shredded cheese and sour cream to top it off. I also made it with fat free half and half and i couldnt tell a difference.12y
ahkahn ,We loved it! Has nice kick, but not too spicy. The whole family enjoyed it. Thanks!12y
twtr25 ,delicious...also tastes great substituting Taco Bell mild sauce instead of the cayenne pepper sauce. gotta serve it with sour cream too!12y
smoses0513 ,I felt this recipe was bland. I had to add a lot to it to make it taste like something. I think it is a good base for a recipe but it doesn't have enough flavor and it's runny12y
steelerswinegirl ,This recipe is amazing! My roommates and I have added it to our favorites :) And it is truly amazing the next day!!!12y
