Very Tasty and Lower in Fat than the original version with eggs
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the turkey sausage and onion and garlic and cook, stirring often, until it is well browned and most of the fat has been rendered. Remove from heat and set aside.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, beat together milk and cheeses together in blender or magic bullet til smooth
Cook pasta according to the package directions. When it?s al dente, (about 4 min, for angel hair pasta,drain.
Immediately return hot pasta to the pot and stir in milk and -cheese mixture, and sausage onion garlic mixture, Toss with peas and season well with freshly ground black pepper.
Place pasta on a warm platter and serve immediately, passing extra grated cheese on the side.
This a lower fat version of this dish, and if you have a magic bullet blender it works all the more better!
