"My husband likes his asparagus mushy but when I served him up this batch he thought it was just the right amount of crisp. The oil burns off in the oven and we could taste/smell that otherwise this would be a five star rating "- Hoffy79

Kyoung81 9 months agoOMG!!! It's was my first time ever cooking asparagus and it turned out perfect. Only thing I would do different would be to decrease the oil use.

BlueJayPie 10 months agoRoasting really brought out the natural sweetness of the asparagus, and the garlic added an interesting savory quality. This was so much better than sautéing or steaming, which is how I've always prepared asparagus...but no more! DH and I both enjoyed this. Kids, not so much...but hey, that's why God made green beans, right? :-D
