From Martin Yan's cookbook "Martin Yan Quick and Easy" this is quick, light and easy.
1. Preheat the oven or grill to ~350ºF.
2. Make the marinade: combine rice wine, black bean sauce, basil, sesame oil, and sugar in a bowl and mix well. Add fish and allow to marinate for 10 min.
3. Place a stir-fry pan over high heat until hot. Add oil and swirl to coat, then stir-fry onion until it begins to brown. Transfer to piece of heavy foil on a grill pan or baking sheet. Arrange the fish over the onion and top with drizzled marinade.
4. Bake uncovered until the fish is opaque and flakes with a fork, ~10 min. Transfer to a serving plate and spoon juices on top. Serve with rice and a tasty wilted green.
