Easy to make cream cheese icing using strawberry preserves.
Beat together cream cheese, preserves, and butter until well mixed. Add powdered sugar and beat until the desired consistency. For a thicker icing or frosting, add more powdered sugar.
It is important to use fruit-sweetened or no-added-sugar preserves as traditional jams/jellies have added sugar and will make it too sweet.
You can use other types of preserves as well- blueberry, raspberry, etc.
