1 SmallCabbage; Chopped
2 LargeCarrots; Sliced
2 MediumOnions; Chopped
1 BunchParsley; Chopped
2 Lg. BoxesBeef Stock; about 1 Quart total
2 Lg CansDiced Tomatoes
2 Sm cansTomato Paste
4 StalksCelery; Optional
2 tbspsWorcester Sauce; Optional
1 tspFranks Red Hot; Optional
1 tspCelery Salt; Can substitute reg. salt
1 tspFreshly ground pepper
1 poundLean ground beef
1 tsppaprika; Optional

Cabbage Soup Preparation

In a frying pan brown ground beef and onions - drain fat. Add celery salt, pepper, paprika, Worcester and hot sauce. In large soup pot combine stock, cabbage, tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley, celery and carrots. Bring to boil and then reduce heat then add ground beef mixture. Simmer for about an hour. Veggies will be tender when ready.
