Amazing tator tot casarole
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Brown beef and drain. Add both cans of condensed soup (no water). Mix well and allow it to heat up. Meanwhile line the bottom of a 9x13 with frozen tator tots. Pour and spread the meat/soup mixture over tator tots. Add another layer of tator tots on top. Bake at 425°F for 30-40 min. until tator tots are hot and golden. Serves 6-8.
Substitute regular cheese soup for the nacho cheese soup for less spice.
Use an 8x8 pan instead for a 4 serving size. Use only half of the meat/soup mix and freeze the rest for another time.
Don’t add salt until afterwards. The condensed soups are quite salty. Some people like to add pepper to the ground beef when cooking.
I’ve also done this recipe with ground turkey.
