Passed down from Joseph Jankowski (Maternal Grandfather) to Don Loesch (dad) to me.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt.
Separate egg whites and yolks into two bowls.
Beat whites until stiff.
To yolks, add milk, brown sugar and vanilla. Mix well.
Add yolk mixture to flour mixture. Mix well. If too dry add a little milk or water.
Add vegetable oil. Mix well.
Fold in the egg whites.
Cook in waffle iron.
