"I used 2 bags of peaches (love lots of peaches) that I thawed from frozen and put a 1/2 cup of sugar over them, added a splash of vanilla and mixed before dumping over the flour mixture, then I sprinkled a little cinnamon over the top before putting in the oven. Delish!!! I did only put a little margarine on top.." - debbie_r_tuey

Easy Peach Cobbler Preparation

Melt margarine in deep dish or pan. Mix sugar, flour, and milk; pour over melted margarine. Pour the peachesw and juice over this mixture. Do not stir. Bake at 350 F for 45-50 minutes. Serve warm. Top with whipped cream. I have successfully reduce the butter to 1/2 stick and have used various pie fillings in this recipe in place of the peaches. Works equally well. Make sure it's a deep dish. Add a dash of salt to the flour mix to cut the sweetness. We liked it better with some cinnamon to taste. Use 1/2 stick butter without noticing a difference. Definitely on my favorite list. Very easy, in my oven and deep pan it does take a little longer to cook.

Pretty good, very easy. Cut the sugar a bit. It didn't get golden brown on top but it was still cooked. Kids loved it!

This is similar to my great grandmothers recipe bit that calls for 2 cups flour, sugar, n milk and 1 tbsp baking powder. Otherwise exact same preparation. In a 9x12. It's amazing!!!!

Just ok. I baked it a 325 rather than 350 and perhaps that was my mistake. After an an hour and fifteen minutes of baking, it was still runny. Let it stand for 20 minutes, cut it and still more runny underneath than solid. Kids loved it anyway, so it's a win-win!

I liked it. It was easy to make. I did use apples instead of peach. Don't like peaches that much. It still turned out real good with apples. I have picky eater in my home. Made it Friday afternoon and it was gone by Sunday. That's a good thing in my house.

this was a nice way to end a lunch. the only thing i would do differently next time is add 1/2 to 3/4 tsp of salt to the batter, to balance the sweet. everyone enjoyed dessert :-)
