You can leave out chive, cheddar or jalapenos.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
With an electric mixer, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar with paddle attachment. Add butter and mix on low until the butter is pea sized. Add half and half and beat until just combined. Add chives, jalapeno and cheddar cheese, and hand mxi until combined.
Put dough on well floured surface, and knead into 1/4 inch thick rectangle. Cut out rounds with cutter or glass and place on cookie sheet lined with silpat. Brush with egg wash.
Bake 20-22 minutes until brown on top and firm on inside.
