Cream butter & brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until mixture is light. Stir the baking soda into the sour cream. Beat the mixture into the batter. Sift the flour and salt. Alternately add the flour mixture and mashed bananas to the batter & mix until combined. Pour into loaf pans.
