Try this Banana Nut Cake recipe, or contribute your own.
Suggest a better descriptionIve made this a number of times. It solves your query of a banana bread and it also comes from the first SAR (Salanta Akiba Riverdale Academy) cookbook, which also no longer has a cover and I think they might have published a new one. So its an organization recipe that I like. I will forward some others from the myriad of cookbooks from shuls and schools that I have. Sift all dry ingredients together -add bananas nuts, and butter or margerine. Mix well in electric mixer. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease square pan. Put a few whole nuts on batter for decoration. Bake about 1 hour. I usually add chocolate chips. Posted to JEWISH-FOOD digest by HKS94@aol.com on Jan 5, 1999,
