Suggest a better descriptionIN bowl, heat 1 cup milk until very warm. Add 1 tbs sugar and yeast. Let sit until frothy. In food processor, pulse flour, 1/2 tsp salt and remaining sugar 3 times. Add 3 tbs butter, 1 egg and milk mixture. Pulse until dough forms ball. On floured surface, knead dough until smooth. Place in greased bowl in warm place, let sit until dough has doubled in size. In bowl, blend preserves, cornstarch and zest. MICROWAVE until thickened. Let cool. Roll out dough on floured surface to 15x11" rectangle. Spread preserve mixture over dough, leaving a border. Beginning at long side, roll tightly. Pinch seam to seal. Cut log into 16 pieces. Arrange pieces 1" apart in tree shape on lined baking sheet. Let rise 1 hour. In bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, remaining milk and butter until blended, set aside. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In bowl, beat remaining egg with 1 tsp water, brush over rolls. Bake 20 min. or until done. Decorate with cream cheese frosting and candies as desired. SERVE & ENJOY...
