Heat the oil in a heavy skillet or electric fryer to 375?. Season chicken wings with salt & pepper to taste and fry 6-8 at a time in hot oil about 10 minutes. Drain fried wings on paper towels.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add the butter. vinegar and hot sauce, stir until butter is melted. Add the wings and coat with the sauce. Lower the heat to low and cook for 10-15 minutes so that they absorb the sauce.
