So easy, and always popular. These cookies are made from cake batter. Who doesn't love cake batter!?
Heat oven to 350 degrees or so. Take two boxes of cake mix, any kind except yellow. Put it into a bowl and break up the clumps. Add 4 - 5 eggs. Add just enough oil to make a dough. Optional: add some dry ingredients for pizzazz. Spray your cookie sheet with no stick spray. Drop dough balls onto sheet and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Good matches:
Plain white cake mix with chopped cherries and/or nuts.
Chocolate with chocolate chips.
Chocolate cake mix, walnuts and chocolate chips
Carrot cake mix; frost the cookies when they're done. Use pre-made frosting for ease!
Pineapple cake mix makes Yummy cookies.
Lemon mix, iced with lemon glaze (icing sugar and water, and lemon juice to taste...enough water to make it mostly runny, so it smooths itself over the cookie)
Or just use the jar of pre-made frosting. It melts on top while the cookies are hot. Mmmm...
