Cook noodles according to box directions. Drain and sprinkle 1/8 tbsp garlic power and toss. Place noodles in a medium size bowl. Set aside.
Sauce:
In a heavy skillet on medium high heat, add 2 tablespoons oil , onions, ground beef and stir while browning. Add parsley flakes while browning. Salt and pepper to taste. When done, remove and drain grease. Return to skillet on medium low heat now, add jar sauce. let simmer about 5 minutes, add 1/4 cup of sugar while stiring lightly, slowly mix well. Let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Remove sauce from heat and pour slowly into bowl of pasta, stiring slowly. Mix well.
Serve with a salad.
