We love Mediterranean food in our house. Chicken Shawarma's are one of our favorite dishes to make.
1) Slice chicken into thin slices.
2) Prepare marinade by mixing the first 6 ingredients.
3) Add chicken slices to marinade and let marinade for 1 hour in refrigerator.
4) Prepare Tzatziki sauce by adding yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, tahini, cucumber, & dill. Set aside to serve with chicken.
5) Slice tomatoes and set aside.
5) When chicken is almost done marinating, preheat grill.
6) After marinating, spray grill with cooking spray and grill chicken until no longer pink (about 5-10 minutes).
7) On plates, layer pita bread, then romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, grilled chicken and then top with Tzatziki sauce.
Watch your chicken carefully as to not overcook and dry out. Grilling times will vary, depending on the thickness of your slices.
