Shells:
Combine the above in a Bowl. BEAT until foamy. Add 1/2 cup sugar at a rate of 2 T. at a time beating after each addition until all sugar is blended in. BEAT until it stands in very stiff peaks.
FOLD in 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 Cup fine chopped walnuts.
Spoon into a GREASED 8 inch pie pan. Make a nest like
shell with the sides 1/2 inch above the bottom of pan.
BAKE 300 degrees 50-55 mins.
Filling:
In a med. sauce pan over low heat add water and tidbits.
Stir until melted and thickened. Remove from heat. Add
Vanilla and FOLD in the whip cream.
PILE into the cooked pie MERINGUE SHELL
CHILL 2 Hours.
