Suggest a better descriptionPreheat the oven to 350 degrees
Cream butter, white and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Mix the dry ingredients into the wet and mix well, you may need to do this by hand.
Add chocolate chips. Spoon onto a parchment lined baking tray (do not flatten), bake for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and let sit for about 5 minutes. Move them from the cookie sheet to a cooling rack.
