Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Place chocolate chips in micro safe bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes on med power until melted stirring every 30 seconds. To thin chocolate add shortening. Dip each spoon in mixture to cover the bowl of the spoon. Place on parchment paper until it is set. Cool before wrapping. Store in refrigerator of freeze.
