"I made this soup yesterday and loved it! I had to add salt and pepper, to taste, and then added a few dashes of hot sauce, to bring out the flavor. My husband really liked it, too. I'm hoping it freezes well, since this recipe makes so much."
1Combine potatoes, onion, broth, and cream of chicken soup in crock pot.
2Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or until potatoes are tender.
3Add cream cheese and blend.
4Top with bacon and chives before serving.

Czwhiz 7 months agoIt was ok. I prefer other recipes that don't use the cream of chicken soup, though.
skot0123 1 year agoI used chicken stock instead of water and I added smoke sausage. Everyone liked it but next time I will only blend a portion and will mash the rest. The texture was too creamy blended.

platinumdiva 2 years agoPretty good, I added red pepper flakes and seasoned salt. Pretty good soup for a minimal amount of work. Also topped with cheddar cheese.

BrenzGamez 2 years agoWe really enjoyed this soup. The first time I made it I blended like suggested but my husband thought it was too creamy so the second time I used a potato masher to break down the big chunks. It turned out great!
