Goulash made with rice & ground beef
1. In skillet, fry ground beef until no longer pink. Add seasoning, peppers, & onions; sauté until slightly softened.
Drain off fat and set aside.
2. In large Dutch type oven, combine diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, & beef stock. Heat over medium heat. Add
brown sugar, rice, tomato soup, and ground beef mixture. Bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally until peppers are tender.
(Add water as necessary)
4. Serve with semi-hard rolls or French bread.
