1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly brush on or spray both sides of each bread slice, then arrange on a baking sheet.
2. Season each piece with salt and pepper to taste. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for at least 10-12 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and crisp. Remove from the oven and let cool before topping with ingredients.
