Suggest a better descriptionIn a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Stir in raisins. Beat the two eggs, set aside one tablespoon of the beaten eggs. In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, oil, and remaining eggs; stir in the flour mixture just until moistened (dough will be sticky). Transfer to a greased 9 inch round baking pan; brush top with reserved egg.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool. Cut into wedges.
