Good and healthy too
Blanch asparagus and drain. Combine oil, garlic, honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Place asparagus in resealable bag and pour sauce over asparagus. Let marinade for a brief period in refrigerator. Remove to grill and heat flame, turning frequently until lightly charred. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
ericeckl 2y agoThis marinade would work well on a lot of vegetables. Brussell sprouts, squash, okra. Blanching the asparagus before grilling is neat trick.

Mollie21 4y agoI'm not much of an asparagus fan... But I loved this recipe! I'll definitely be making this again - a quick an easy side dish to any meal!
TheFrenchKitchen 4y agoThese were very good. We had some Asparagus about to go bad in the fridge so we tried this, we love grilled vegetables, so we grilled up onion and red pepper as well chopped it and tossed it with butter, fettuccine and olive oil. AMAZING!!
FitShana 4y agoSooooo good!! My boyfriend commented "this is the best asparagus I've ever had." I didn't put them directly on the grill, I put them in a pie tin on the grill and they turned out great.
Zoom-kazumi 4y agoDELICIOUS! Made this with steak for mother's day and my mom could not have been happier. will make again and again! I might even try this marinade on portobellas!!!
ChefFiegel 5y agoMy kids think asparagus tastes like pee. I was surprised when I looked at their plates and they had some on them to begin with & then doubley surprised when they plates where empty. Good stuff.
mommywalker 6y agoThis was delicious. I might try sesame oil next time instead of olive oil. I made this with the Dark Balsamic Soy Grilled Salmon and mashed potatoes and it made a great combo.
