Ingredients

8 cups Water
2 teaspoons Fresh ginger; finely diced
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons darjeeling tea; or other strong black tea
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
2 cups Whole milk
1 tablespoon Honey

Original recipe makes 6 Servings

Preparation

1. In a saucepan bring water, ginger, cardamom, and cloves to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and add tea, sugar, milk, and honey. Simmer 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.

2. Strain tea into cups and serve hot.
