Suggest a better descriptionMix all the marinade ingredients (everything but the chicken) and puree in a blender until smooth.
In a large bowl, toss chicken pieces with marinade. Divide the pieces and marinade between 2 heavy-duty plastic bags. Seal the bags, pressing out the excess air, and let marinate in the refridgerator, turning the bags over several times, for at least 6 hours and up to 2 days.
Grill the chicken away from the fire, until golden brown with bits of blackened skin, about 1 1/2 hours, turning every now and then, basting with the leftover marinade.
