Suggest a better description1. Cut spareribs 1.5 inch in length. Marinate with salt, soy sauce, rice wine, black pepper, and garlic for 1 hour. Coat spareribs with cornstarch before deep frying.
2. Heat 5 cups oil. Deep-fry the spareribs about 4 minutes until golden brown. Remove ribs and drain well. Heat oil again, and do the second deep frying for 1 minute, then remove ribs from oil.
3. Heat 1 T. oil, stir-fry green onion for a few seconds, add seasoning sauce and bring it to boil, then add cooked spareribs and mix well. Remove to the platter and garnish with leaf lettuce. Serve hot or cold.
