2. slice and separate onion rings
3. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt
4. Dip onions into flour mixture and set aside
5. Whisk egg and milk into remaining flour mixture.
6. Coat onion rings with mixture then place on wire rack until batter stops dripping
7. Spread crumbs onto plate, place rings onto crumbs, then scoop them over rings to cover both sides.
8. Deep fry 2-3 minutes. Remove from fryer and place on paper towel to drain and cool. Season with season salt.
