Creamy potato soup recipe given to me by my sister.
Boil potatoes until soft, peel and cube. Combine potatoes, milk, butter, soup, onion, bacon bits, and cream cheese. Simmer and stir 10 mins until cream cheese is melted. Sprinkle in shredded cheese and serve.
Note: I sautee the onions in some butter until soft before adding to the soup so the soup isn't "crunchy."
